Mr. Game Room, Our Family Business Story

Its hard to believe, our first Mr. Game Room Party was back in 2009. Mr. Game Room is a local Gahanna based family run business, we are NOT an out of state franchise.  We designed and built our Mr. Game Room units right here in Columbus.  We started the business to make children’s parties special, something to enjoy and remember and with over five years in the Mobile Video Game business we know what works and what doesn’t. We now have FOUR Mr. Game Room units and are building another to launch in the Spring of 2019.

We have been in business in Central Ohio since 2001 with our other business called Fun Day Events, where we still provide a wide variety of activities for school events and company picnics. This business combined with Mr. Game Room means we can  add a Bounce House, Inflatable Slide, Clown, Face Painter, Carnival Games or GIANT Outdoor Movie to your Mr. Game Room party to customize your event with all the special activities you want, we are a one stop shop for all your event or party needs.

Meet Our Team

 My name is Michael Ross and I am the owner and full time operator of Mr. Game Room and Fun Day Events.  Our Family has been in Gahanna for over 30 years and grew up here. After I graduated with my Masters in Business my full time job was a Marketing Manager for a fortune 200 company right here in Central Ohio. As the Marketing Manager I was tasked with holding a lot of events and was not pleased with the selection and quality of service I was getting from the local providers and thought to myself  “I can do this much better”. so, Fun Day Events was born in 2001. During the years we received many requests for video game parties and we developed a special rig for doing video game parties and that rig envolved into the larger wheeled version you see today as Mr. Game Room.

 My main goal is to offer “ The Best Party Value”  for our customers and their families at Mr. Game Room and Fun Day Events. We invite you to share in the fun with your family and friends with a Mr. Game Room  Party, Giant Outdoor Movie, Bounce House or Catered Company Picnic.   Our staff and I will deliver the best event at the best price every time.
